Roade Family
Welcome to the Roade Family, part of the South Northants and Daventry School Sports Partnership. Here you will find information on how we are working within the partnership to enhance young people's opportunities to participate in a wide range of sports, as well as raising the standards of teaching and learning of PE and school sport.
All of the schools in the Roade Family currently provide every student between 5-16 years old with at least 2 hours of high quality PE and school sport during every school week.
Seven of our eight primary schools received active mark in 2007/8 with Roade Sports College, at the hub of the strategy, holding sports mark.
As we move to 2012 our family is now working hard to provide opportunities for our ALL of our young people to participate in a further 3 hours each week of high quality sporting activity, through school, voluntary and community providers.
